Acting & Reels

Acting Reel

This is an updated reel of my most recent projects.

People Pleaser Movement Piece

I approached choreographer Jess Totaro with the idea to to create a story based on People Pleaser by artist Kate Miller-Heidke. I realized I had been stifling my own creativity by affixing my identity to the approval and reactions (good or bad) of others and wanted to create a symbolic piece of art to represent my breakthrough.

Rides Start at 10 Reel

This is my feature reel from Tim Lee’s Rides Start at 10. The movie follows five separate college students' lives and their wacky experiences attending the same college party. You can watch the whole thing at www.ridesstartat10.com.

Flatlanders Short Film

Out of touch with reality, a man seeks the help of a therapist (me). What he doesn’t remember is that he has tried this before, but will the results be different this time?

Dragged In Short Film

I play a hermit who is frightfully prepared for disaster. It was written and directed by Brazen.nyc and I received a Sparrow Film Festival Nomination for Best Actress. The film won Best Film Score.

Comedy & Commerical

Promo for GE’s Creator’s Circle

General Electric Lighting hired three artists (I was one of them) to create our art for 3 hours on a sound stage in rooms lit by their new products. I wrote comedic songs inspired by the audience. It was shot on a 360 cam and broadcast live on Facebook. Vayner Media produced the whole thing. Cool project, tightly run.

Food Network Style Promo

They wound up firing me, but I did get to hang out with the dopest bakers ever in a bakery previously featured on Food Network. This piece was completely improvised promo for one of my music shows.

Produced & Directed

Pilot Episode of Cat London’s SKUBER!

One day I said out loud, “I should make a movie called SKUBER and it should be about a taxi service phone app for kids who miss the bus on their way to school.” It was always deeply embarrassing to see the bus in the distance, slowly pulling away and accelerating as you bounded up the street, arms flailing about, momentum strained by an awkward backpack. It was even WORSE rushing back home to tell your parent or babysitter to quickly get in the car and drive you to school before homeroom. That’s where a SKUBER would have been a dream solution. The characters of the boy, Jake, and his driver, Jeff, are good chums. Their hilarious friendship began because Jake often missed the bus and had to call SKUBER to transport him to school. He misses the bus so often we are left to wonder if he does it intentionally, looking forward to the good company of his goofy confidante, Jeff. This silly and heartwarming short reminds us that sometimes it’s okay to slow down and be late once in a while.

#TheRightWay Kindness Campaign Video

Official Music Video for “The Right Way”

My production team and I went to Middlesex High School (NJ) and asked students to volunteer their opinion on what it means to treat others #TheRightWay. Thanks to Vince Inciong, music teacher at MSH and cinematographer, our kindness initiative unfolded through the voice of his students. The Right Way’ is a duet I wrote in 2013 featuring two young people struggling with acceptance, empathy, and bullying. The song makes us recognize that we are the same, we feel the same pain, but we may not realize it.
